Rare GS, 350, Auto, Factory Air Conditioning!

PJ's Auto World is pleased to offer this 1970 Buick GS Hardtop for Sale. This GS is powered by a 350 Cu In V8 with aluminum intake, 4 barrel carburetor, Buick aluminum valve covers, automatic transmission and dual exhaust. More air into the engine meant more fuel could be used, more fuel being burnt meant more performance, so Buick introduced it's well known Ram Air Hood illustrated here. It's equipped with power steering, power brakes and factory air conditioning all sitting nicely in a detailed engine bay. The car is finished in a light green metallic with a contrasting black vinyl top. The interior is finished with black bucket seats, wood grain accented center console, Sonomatic Radio and remote driver's side mirror. The car also has auxiliary gauges to keep the driver informed on all that's going on and is finished off with an 8-track player under the dash.

The grille is in exceptional condition and carries the famous GS badging which turns heads along with hi-gloss chrome and gleaming brightwork. The badging is continued to the two front fenders as well as the rear deck lid. Also noticed on this car's deck lid is the metal dealership's name. It's famous in it's own right! Amos and Andy Buick, Chattanooga, Tennessee. And, BEST of all, it comes with the ORIGINAL BILL OF SALE FOR THIS GS from the dealership. Proving a "GS" is a real "GS" and not simply a Skylark with badging is always difficult, but there's no doubt here and this documentation will go to the new owner of this RARE Muscle Car. The car rolls on a set of factory Magnum 500 styled chrome wheels with Cooper Cobra raised white letter radials in 225/70R 14's. Buick and GM Collectors and Enthusiasts, don't miss this RARE Muscle Car! Ready to roll and enjoy!

Buick is sometimes overlooked in the General Motors line up of Muscle Cars. When one thinks of GM Muscle, one normally thinks of Pontiac's GTO, Chevrolet's SS Chevelle or even Oldsmobile's 442. All great cars and millions over the years hit the streets and highways of America. Both Buick and Oldsmobile catered to a different type of Muscle Car purchaser. These purchasers wanted a car they could take to the streets and hold it's own against the likes of a Plymouth Road Runner, Dodge Charger or possibly a Mustang Mach 1, but they also wanted a bit more luxury. Buick responded with the Buick GS. A mid-size, well appointed Muscle Car, and they succeeded!
